Unfortunately, I'm giving this book two stars only based on my previous enjoyment, otherwise would have been a big zero. I think Cody Parker was an amazing tale. Learning of Tanner's beginning was heartfelt. Unfortunately, War sent us back to Psycho Sara. This is a woman with no charm, no personality, no nothing. Just a psycho who blames someone else for all of her own flaws. Don't imagine I'll be following the Tanner series anymore, which really grumps me off. So good to begin with, so boring at the end.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.Book great. Sarah Blake, getting oldBy PackratGood book but I am sick to death of Sarah Blake. I don't hate her, or think she's evil. Truth be told, I don't even think she's all that interesting. What I do think is that the author is beating a dead horse by using her over and over like he does. She's just annoying, and I find myself wishing he'd come up with something, anything, to replace whatever word quota he's trying to come up with by keeping her character. Other than that, the book is great. BartonLooks like Sarah has finally reached the end of the line, at least that's what I was thinking but then an unlikely mediator tries to get them to bury the hatchet as it were.While Tanner is ready to move on and deal with some other issues that have become an immediate threat, Sarah seems to have some issues with bygones be bygones.Not really a lot to say, if you're a fan of the series then you have an idea of what to expect from the beloved Tanner and if you're new to the series you can start here but I might recommend starting at the beginning.See all 77 customer reviews...
